- β’Operate acquisition navigation software (Hypack & Hysweep / Qinsy) during active survey lines.
- β’Coordinate with client site representatives, port authorities, and vessel masters for safe daily survey execution.
- β’Conduct preliminary raw data QA/QC, cross-line analysis, and vertical datum verification before demobilization.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- βDegree or Diploma in Geomatics, Hydrography, Marine Science, Civil Engineering, or Land Surveying.
- βHands-on experience with multibeam echo sounders (MBES) and single-beam systems (SBES).
- βProficiency in Hypack & Hysweep or Qinsy acquisition suites.
- βFamiliarity with IHO S-44 survey standards and datum transformations (WGS 84, UTM, MSL, Chart Datum).
- βValid medical fitness certificate for nearshore and offshore vessel embarkation.
Hydrographic Data Processing Engineer
Focuses on bathymetric sounding validation, noise filtering, CUBE surface modeling, volume computation, and preparation of engineering-grade survey charts.
Key Responsibilities:
- β’Clean and process high-density multibeam acoustic point clouds and single-beam soundings.
- β’Apply dynamic tidal reduction models, sound velocity profile corrections, and vessel draft adjustments.
- β’Compute pre- and post-dredging cut/fill volumes using TIN models and cross-section methods.
- β’Draft hydrographic survey charts, bathymetric contours, and fair sheets in AutoCAD Civil 3D or GIS environments.
- β’Compile comprehensive technical survey reports, QA/QC statistical tables, and deliverable dossiers.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- βBachelorβs degree in Geoinformatics, Civil Engineering, Marine Technology, or related discipline.
- βStrong command of Hypack, Qinsy, CARIS HIPS/SIPS, AutoCAD, or QGIS/ArcGIS.
- βSolid grasp of geodesy, coordinate systems, and volumetric calculation algorithms.
- βHigh attention to detail regarding sounding filtering and vertical accuracy metrics.
Topographic & Drone (UAV) Survey Specialist
